Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Video2Kitchen application ("App") or visiting our website (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Video2Kitchen ("we", "our", or "us"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version with an updated date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Video2Kitchen is an AI-powered application that allows users to extract recipe information — including ingredients, quantities, and step-by-step instructions — from cooking videos. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit video URLs for content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Engage in unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing behavior.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, and software — are the exclusive property of Video2Kitchen and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Recipes generated by the AI are derived from third-party video content. We do not claim ownership over the underlying recipes or video content provided by creators. Your use of generated recipe content is at your own discretion and responsibility.

If the App offers in-app purchases, the following terms apply in addition to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions:

• All in-app purchases are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We are the seller of the digital content but Apple acts as our agent for billing purposes.
• Purchases are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).
• You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods unless required by law.
• Apple is not responsible for the Service or any content therein. Maintenance and support for the App is the sole responsibility of Video2Kitchen.
• Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. Video2Kitchen has no control over and is not responsible for processing refunds.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Recipe accuracy depends on the quality of the source video and AI interpretation; always verify recipes before consuming.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VIDEO2KITCHEN AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Video2Kitchen and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

The Service relies on third-party services including AI providers and cloud infrastructure. Video2Kitchen is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these services. Links to third-party content within the Service do not constitute our endorsement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to us, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will immediately cease.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
